The National Concrete Pavement Technology Center (CP Tech Center), at Iowa State University, in cooperation with the Office of Pavement Technology of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), developed the 470-page Guide for Concrete Pavement Distress Assessments and Solutions. Accurately identifying the distresses, understanding the causes of the distress, how to prevent them on future projects, and determine the proper repair procedures can be daunting and complicated.
