Mark your calendars for an exciting opportunity to experience the latest in Roller-Compacted Concrete (RCC) pavement technology at the RCC Site Visit and Production & Placement Demonstration in Tampa, Florida. Scheduled for Friday, August 30, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM EDT, this in-person event will be hosted at Dobbs Equipment in Lutz, FL. Organized by the RCC Pavement Council, Aran, and Florida RCC, the event promises to be an informative and hands-on experience for professionals in the concrete and construction industries.
The day will begin with a departure from the Holiday Inn Tampa North at 9:45 AM, leading attendees to Dobbs Equipment. Upon arrival, participants will undergo a site safety review followed by an introduction to the project. From 10:10 AM to 11:30 AM, attendees will have the chance to explore the site, view materials, equipment, and logistics, and observe the RCC placement method, surface finishing, and joint preparation. This is a unique chance to witness the latest equipment and techniques in RCC pavement production and placement.
After the site visit, attendees are invited to continue networking over lunch at Bahama Breeze, located at 25830 Sierra Center Blvd, Lutz, FL. This will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the demonstration and share insights with industry peers.
