In a move to enhance industry knowledge and celebrate its 50th Anniversary, the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) is set to host four exclusive educational courses at this year’s World of Concrete. Attendees looking to stay ahead in the field are encouraged to register for these insightful sessions, taking place during the prestigious 50th Anniversary Show.
The courses cover a diverse range of topics, showcasing ACPA’s commitment to advancing sustainable and resilient concrete pavements. On Monday, January 22nd, from 1:00-2:30pm, experts will delve into “Achieving & Promoting Sustainable, Resilient Concrete Pavements.” This session promises to provide invaluable insights into the latest practices that contribute to the longevity and durability of concrete pavements.
On Wednesday, January 24th, participants have the opportunity to explore two essential courses. The morning session, “Concrete Pavement Preservation and Repair” from 9:00am-12:00pm, will focus on maintaining and repairing existing concrete structures. In the afternoon, “Constructing Smooth Concrete Pavements: Tips, Techniques & State of the Art Equipment,” scheduled from 1:30-3:30pm, will offer a comprehensive look at the latest construction methods and cutting-edge equipment used in achieving impeccably smooth concrete pavements.
The series concludes on Thursday, January 25th, with the course “Concrete Pavement Joint Design, Construction & Sealing” from 9:00am-12:00pm. This session will address critical aspects of joint design and construction, along with effective sealing techniques, contributing to the overall longevity and performance of concrete pavements.
