ISCP is instituting several changes to our membership program for 2023 in hopes to better attract and re-engage the concrete pavement community! ISCP continues to strive towards providing our members with resources to promote best practices and the newest technology on an international level in 2023. Current initiatives within ISCP that are in development include the following:
- ISCP’s Open Journal System (OJS) to provide better access and cataloging of conference proceedings and other key publications (open in 2023)
- Question and Opinion (Q&O) forum to provide access to international experts
- Webinar Series (in conjunction with the International Road Federation in 2022)
- Development of a Special International Symposium on Concrete Pavements series as tribute to leaders in our field (plans for next symposium in Summer 2023)
- Members-only discounts on events such as the 13th International Conference on Concrete Pavements scheduled for August 25-29, 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
- Continuation of our monthly newsletter to provide the latest in concrete pavement news from an international perspective, including new features such as the Student Research Spotlight.
As part of this commitment to re-engagement, ISCP counts on your membership and participation to advance the concrete pavement field and meet the challenges that lie ahead!
The most significant change to our membership process includes a re-implementation of a calendar year membership term as opposed to the rotating 365-day membership process that has been utilized for the past several years. In order to transition to this calendar year approach, existing ISCP members will be provided discount codes based on their previous membership renewal date as noted below. Watch for an email from our new Membership Coordinator, Kristen Dolge-Christensen, with information on membership as well as a discount code to use for the online renewal process later this month.

To help re-engage past ISCP members that have let their official membership lapse, the Society will also be offering a one-time discount of 50% off (USD$75) annual membership. Previous ISCP members will also be contacted by our Membership Coordinator with information on re-engagement and membership renewal during the month of December.
