After much discussion between the 12th International Conference on Concrete Pavements (12th ICCP) Organizing Committee, the ISCP Board, and the conference hotel (The Depot), a decision has been made to move the conference fully online for 2021. Between unknown international travel restrictions and limited travel opportunities for state agencies significantly reducing in-person participation, ISCP felt that this would be the most fiscally responsible alternative for a conference this year.
While details of the 2021 online conference are currently in short supply, the organizing committee will be realigning our scheduling, registration, and sponsorship opportunities to reflect the format change. It is our plan to have conference REGISTRATION open by April 1st with registration fees for this online format significantly reduced from the in-person option. The initial in-person dates of August 29 – September 2, 2021 may also be modified to better accommodate logistics of nearly 100 technical presentations and 10 sponsored workshops in this online format.
It is our hope that this online format and reduced registration costs will allow for substantial participation from a world-wide audience to best serve the mission of ISCP to “to facilitate the advancement of knowledge and technology related to concrete pavements“.
As part of our re-negotiations with The Depot, ISCP will be hosting the NEXT International Conference on Concrete Pavements—the 13th ICCP 2024—at The Depot in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, August 25-29, 2024.
