“Reduced Cementitious Material in Optimized Concrete Mixtures”
presented by Seyedhamed Sadati, Ph.D., Assistant Scientist-
CP Tech Center
 at Iowa State University

Please join the National Road Research Alliance (NRRA) for a very special “Research Pays Off Webinar Day” on October 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. (CT). The topic will be “Reduced Cementitious Material in Optimized Concrete Mixtures”, and the presenter will be Seyedhamed Sadati, Ph.D., Assistant Scientist-CP Tech Center. This project explores the performance of two pavement sections at MnROAD research facility, constructed with optimized concrete mixtures proportioned with reduced cementitious materials content. The primary goal is to monitor the constructibility and longevity of the concrete mixtures with reduced cementitious material content. The presentation will include an overview of the laboratory test results, followed by a summary of the field observations obtained during first two years of exposure. The format for this presentation will also involve the presenters asking questions of the attendees.

Minnesota ROAD (MnROAD)’s (Minnesota’s Cold Weather Pavement Testing Facility) NRRA will provide 2019 monthly seminars—every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 10:00 a.m.—to highlight research topics that will make an impact on the work done in the state of Minnesota and around the United States.
