The American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA)‘s Annual Meeting is always planned with attention to all participants, including spouses and guests. The 56th Annual Meeting will be held Tuesday, December 3, through Thursday, December 5, 2019 and will include several special activities, including:

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3
— Golf Outing: English Turn Golf Club | 12:15 pm – 5:30 pm
The pro shop has asked that ACPA provide an estimated number of golfers by next Tuesday, October 1.

This is golf outing is a great opportunity to meet up with old friends or entertain your clients while enjoying a beautiful New Orleans delta golf venue! Transportation will be provided to and from the course. (Add-on activity when registering).
— Personal and Thrilling Airboat Swamp Tour | 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
A high-speed airboat tour of the South Louisiana bayous and tidewater cypress swamp.
See the South Louisiana bayous and swamps during your 2-hour tour of 20,000 acres of tidewater cypress swamp—a dynamic ecosystem supporting a variety of aquatic and moist-soil vegetation, as well as a diverse wildlife population. Adventurers will witness some of the most beautiful scenery around as they ride through the swamp and into the bayous lined with moss-draped cypress and tupelo-gum trees, with opportunities to see alligators, snakes, turtles, egrets, herons, ibis, and possibly hawks, owls, or a bald eagle! Bus transportation will be provided. (Add-on activity when registering).
— Spirits and Cocktails Walking Tour | 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Enjoy signature New Orleans cocktails while hearing about ghosts and spirits said to still haunt the legendary Vieux Carre … sample famous 6-8 dishes—red beans and rice, po-boys, gumbo, chargrilled oysters, and more! Experience ancient secret and sinister events, spiritual side, grim and ghastly deeds of New Orleans Voodoo, ghosts, spirits, death, and history of the French Quarter. Learn about the history and making of New Orleans’ cocktails and spirits … all while tasting 3 notable cocktails (included in the ticket price) at some of the city’s most famous bars and restaurants.
