John Leckie, P.E., joined the the Indiana Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) as Director of Pavements and Materials. His primary focus is to identify and pursue concrete pavement bid opportunities with the Indiana Department of Transportation (DOT)’s district offices, municipal agencies, and county agencies.
John graduated from the Indiana Institute of Technology in 1990 and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Indiana. Beginning in 1990, John served 29 years with Indiana DOT, most-recently, as Construction and Materials Management Director for the agency. During his tenure, he held a variety of roles including Project Engineer in Construction, District Testing Engineer, District Development Engineer, and District Capital Program Management Director for the DOT’s Fort Wayne District.
John’s addition to the ACPA staff will allow the Association extend its technical and promotional support to offer concrete pavement solutions to cities, counties and Indiana DOT districts.
