ACPA will present a 3-Day National Workshop on best practices used in the design, construction, and rehabilitation of concrete pavements used for airport applications. The workshop program will feature technical presentations by subject matter experts with practical experience in the topic areas. It is intended for:
• Owners’ representatives
• Engineers
• Contractor personnel
• Others with an interest in concrete pavement design, construction, and rehabilitation for airport applications.
Leading the discussions will be experts from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE)’s Transportation System Center, the Headquarters office of the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), ACPA, and companies with direct involvement in FAA and USACE projects. One of the popular highlights of the workshop is straightforward, often spirited discussions about concrete pavement specifications for airports, notably the FAA‘s P-501 spec and the Unified Facilities Guide Specification (UFGS) 32 13 14.13 spec used for US Army Corps of Engineers and other Tri-Services projects!
The PROGRAM will begin with Continental Breakfast at 7:30 AM each day, and the WORKSHOP will be from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (EDT) on Days 1 and 2, and from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Day 3.
