The Online Abstract Submission Portal will be open until Monday October 15 for the Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) 5th Concrete Pavements Conference. If you would like to be considered as a presenter for the 5th Conference, please submit an abstract before or on October 15! All confirmed presenters will be entitled to the substantially discounted full conference registration fee of only $800.00, if registered within the Early Bird period.
The 5th Concrete Pavements will be held July 21-24, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza, Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia.
In addition to plenary session topics, there are provisions for eight conference streams, which will group presentations into specific themes. The final choice of conference themes will depend on the nature of abstracts submitted. It is anticipated and papers are invited addressing design, construction, materials, equipment, experiences from projects, innovations, and research related to:
- Concrete road pavements
- Concrete airfield pavements
- Other concrete pavements, such as ports, heavy industrial, rail/light rail
- New developments in concrete pavement design
- Strategic pavement interventions including concrete overlays, rehabilitation, rapid repair materials, preservation and maintenance.
- Recycled materials including recycling of pavements materials, use of waste products in concrete (eg glass)
- Materials for concrete, including alternatives to steel reinforcement
- Innovations, including the impact on pavements to accommodate new technologies such as smart motorways and autonomous vehicles, and solar panels in pavements
- New developments in equipment including slipform pavers, diamond grinding, dowel bar retrofit
The website is open for early-bird registrations. The Sponsorship and Exhibition Prospectus will be available through the conference website by October 5th.
