The Transportation Research Board (TRB) 98th Annual Meeting will be held January 13-17, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., USA. The information-packed program is expected to attract more than 13,000 transportation professionals from around the world to Washington, D.C. The TRB Annual Meeting is the largest event in North America for U.S. DOT and State Department of Transportation (DOT) Officials.
The TRB Annual Meeting program covers all transportation modes, with more than 5,000 presentations in nearly 750 sessions and workshops addressing topics of interest to all attendees—policy makers, administrators, practitioners, researchers, and representatives of government, industry, and academic institutions.
New for the TRB 98th Annual Meeting in 2019: “TRB Live! Theaters” where organizations will highlight their value in a theater setting. Theaters in the exhibit hall will give Annual Meeting exhibitors and patrons the exclusive opportunity to make 30-minute presentations on the goods, services, and solutions their organizations provide. TRB Live! Theaters are designed to enhance the value of the TRB Annual Meeting to its supporting organizations, as well as to expand the information transfer opportunities for TRB Annual Meeting attendees. Two theaters will be open on Monday and Tuesday, January 14 and 15, 2019 during the Annual Meeting Exhibits. Presentations in the TRB Live! East Theater will start at the top of each hour, and presentations in the TRB Live! West Theater will start at the bottom of each hour, making every presentation an exclusive experience within the hall. There will be a total of 12 slots for each day (24 total slots over two days). Presenters may bring their own published materials (flyers, brochures, etc.) for distribution to attendee inside the theater.
