The Belgisch Wegencongres Congrès belge de la Route (XXIII Belgian Roads Conference in Brussels) will be held Wednesday-Friday October 4-6, 2017, at the SQUARE-Brussels Meeting Center in Brussels, Belgium. The Belgian Road Congress, a manifestation of the Belgian Road Association (ABR-BWV), Claude Van Rooten, Chairman, is organized every four years and is aimed at professionals concerned with the construction, management and operation of roads—road and network managers, contractors, as well as studies and research centers.
Organized by Brussels Mobility (Regional Public Service of Brussels) under the presidency of Jean-Paul Gaillyhis, Director-General, this 23rd edition will focus on three days of a full overview of the many facets of the road today—promoting exchanges between the various players. The program focuses on the different phases of the life of a road infrastructure: design, execution, maintenance and operation. The approach is resolutely pragmatic by highlighting innovations and best practices, as well as enhancing the know-how of companies and administrations in all regions, provinces and municipalities active in the road sector in Belgium. Particular emphasis will be placed on urban roads, Smart Mobility, quality of public space, and service to users.
Parallel to the working sessions, an EXHIBITION/SPONSORSHIP will offer the various public and private actors the unique opportunity to present their products and achievements and establish contacts for future collaborations. An Exhibitor / Sponsor will:
