DCS-Seminario Internacional de Losas y Pavimentos Lima 2016
Durable Concrete Solutions (DCS) held the first in series of the Concrete Flatworks Seminar, titled “Seminario Internacional de Pisos y Pavimentos de Hormigon 2016” (1st International Seminar on Concrete Pavement Flats 2016”) in Lima Peru on June 9 and 10, 2016. Held at the Los Delfines Hotel-Lima, Peru, the seminar was sponsored by ISCP, ISCP Organizational Member TCPavements, ACI Peru, Ministerio de Transportes y Communicaciones (Ministery of Transport), The Chilean Peruvian Commerce Chamber, and the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (National School of Engineering-Peru). The seminar hosted 120 business decision makers, influencers, and owners from projects related to industrial floors and pavements—including engineers, architects, general contractors, concrete contractors, building owners, government agencies, and all others seeking the most up-to-date information.
The focus was on concrete flatworks. The two-day event was designed to present the best practices of the concrete industry for quality slab-on-ground and pavement construction. Presenters gave their knowledge and experience developed in their respective fields : Day one focused on concrete pavements for industrial establishments such as distribution centers, warehouses, and salesrooms; and day two focused on concrete pavements for highways, streets, and roads.
