Second Announcement Program
The 11th International Conference on Concrete Block Pavement (ICCBP ’15), organized by the Forschungsgesellschaft Für Strassen- Und Verkehrswesen (FGSV) (German Road and Transportation Research Association) and the Technische Universität Dresden-Institute of Urban Pavement Engineering (TU-Dresden), will take place September 8-11, 2015 at the International Congress Center, Dresden in Dresden, Germany. The Conference is a continuation of a succession of various conferences which previously and successfully took place in San Francisco, Buenos Aires and Shanghai. The 2015 event—previously known internationally under the name ‘PAVE’—will take place for the first time ever in Germany. Germany is among those countries with the largest portion of concrete block paved areas worldwide and the German machine and plant manufacturers are also among the market leaders in this sector of industry in many regions worldwide … therefore, more than 500 participants are expected from industry, research and practice. This international conference is organized as a planned long-term series of events to discuss and promote technical and scientific progress of recent developments/issues in the design and construction of block pavements worldwide. ISCP Member, Anne Beeldens, Belgium, will be on the Scientific Committee. The languages of the conference are English and German, with simultaneous translation.
The Congress Agenda is aimed at manufacturers, installation companies, scientists, and engineers who are concerned with the planning and construction of the superstructures of traffic areas. The lectures will cover a wide range of contents:
- Constructive design, Planning, Manufacture and execution of concrete block pavements
- Aspects of landscape planning
- Innovations and research in the field of concrete block pavements
- Ecological aspects of water-permeable pavements
- Preservation and preservation planning
- Manufacturing technologies
- Material design of concrete paving stones
In addition to the lecture program, there will be an International Trade Exhibition and Poster Session, organized by Concrete Plant International(CPI-Worldwide), for the presentation of the latest production technologies, refinement techniques, surface protection systems, moulds, colors, underlay boards, and other products and technologies. There will be an INDOOR EXHIBITION in the Dresden Congress Centre, as well as an OUTDOOR EXHIBITION, with demonstrations of handling and installation machines.
