As part of the XXVth World Road Congress organized in Seoul, Republic of Korea, a one and half-day Workshop on Airfield Pavements will take place November 4-5, 2015 in the congress premises. Presentations are invited on the topics covered by the 3 sessions, according to the timeline (listed below). The proposals will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of this workshop. Accepted papers and Power Point presentations will be included in the proceedings of the XXVth World Road Congress published by the World Road Association (PIARC) after the congress. This workshop will be held in English.
This workshop is composed of 3 sessions:
- Session 1: Functional requirements, Surface Characteristics
- Session 2: Airfield Design, Full-scale testing, Pavement rating system
- Session 3: Airfield Construction, Maintenance, Restoration and Management
